Show Luncheon and Public Catering
Official Show luncheon - limited opportunity for public to attend.
In 2008 a decision was taken to cease the formal part of the Show luncheon and to build on the very successful move to a buffet style offering which allowed the participants to eat at varied times to suit their particular situation on the day.
The meal gives the opportunity for friends old and new to take a
period of rest from the bustle of the Show and have a chat.
Tickets may be purchased on a first come, first served basis from the
entrance to the luncheon marquee on the morning of the Show. The marquee
is to be found near the bandstand.
Catering courts
2008
also saw a major change to the public catering arrangements at the Show.
Instead of the haphazard placing of the catering units and bars as had
been the case previously two food courts were established.
The first is to be found near the bandstand and the Show luncheon marquees and the second opposite the main entrance to the Craft Shed.
Each
food court offers a variety of products and a bar as well as soft drink
and tea and coffee facilities. There is some seating available.

Other catering facilities and ice cream
In addition to the food courts there are some individual caterers in the more remote areas of the Showground saving competitors and exhibitors the walk to the food courts, if they are pressed for time.
Ice cream sales can be found in various parts of the Showground and there are a few take away offerings in the Taste of Cornwall Marquee.
