Entertainment during the day and the Evening Concert.
The whole Show is entertainment but here we will dwell on the aspects where we specifically provide music, dance or a physical demonstration.
During Show day there are two main areas where you are able to relax and enjoy a musical interlude or watch line dancing or similar.
St Stythians Band will entertain on the Bandstand as they have done for many years, as well as accompanying the traditional march from the main gates to the flag poles for the opening ceremony.
The Kelly's Entertainment Area, sponsored by Kelly's of Cornwall (located next to Taste of Cornwall) features an assortment of entertainers, such as an accordion band, school jazz orchestra or line dancing together with seating where you can take the weight off your feet.
For 2010 the second entertainment area featured:
- Misty Mountain Line Dancers
- Jumping Out Duo
- Falmouth School Jazz Band
Around the Showground you may find demonstrations of physical activity such as martial arts
Evening Concert
In the evening of Show Day there is a concert in the domestic marquee usually featuring one of the many excellent choirs from around our County together with the St Stythians Band. For details click here
