All Change for Catering at the Show The provision of refreshments has undergone a complete review over the last few months, with the food outlets now being mainly based in two food courts, one in the usual place next to the bandstand, and the other on the area at the end of the Horticulture marquee. There will be a bar by Skinners in both areas together with seating. Hopefully, this will provide a greater choice of food for everyone. The Luncheon Marquee will remain in the same place near the bandstand but instead of the formal luncheon and speeches at 1 p.m. will now offer a two course buffet lunch any time from 12 noon – 2 p.m. Tickets will still need to be purchased as early as possible during the morning and are limited. | |
Shopping Plenty of opportunities at the Show this year for this pursuit. Trade stand space has again been in great demand, so there is sure to be a good selection of goods and services on display to tempt you. This year the trophy presented to the Association last year by Mitchell and Webber will be awarded to the best trade stand. The Taste of Cornwall marquee, sponsored by Lloyds TSB and Stephens & Scown, will again offer plenty of choice, whether it be something to enjoy for tea when you get home or from the two units offering food to eat at the show.
