Following the return of cattle to the Show in 2002, the cattle section worked hard to ensure that the 2003 Show was a success and that we were able to follow the biosecurity rules provided by DEFRA.

Some changes in the operation of the cattle section of the show, which were introduced for 2002 continue.

Cattle transport will again use the parking area close to the cattle lines. Additional hygiene measures will be in place.

The Grand Parade of cattle will be held in the main ring, this year.

Entry levels are increasing year on year as the industry recovers from the ravages of foot & mouth.
