Welcome to the Vice Presidents' Area
New Vice Presidents are very welcome and the Association hopes that they may become more involved with the operation of the Show either by attending the General Meetings and having their say, or preferably, by coming along and helping in the setting up and knocking down of the Show each July. Helpers are always needed and each person is able to contribute according to their ability.
Adult Vice Presidents are entitled to "forward parking" before 11 a.m. on Show Day, subject to availability. A pass needs to be requested when paying the subscription.
Vice Presidents receive an admission badge - they do not have to wait at the pay desk to gain admission.
When you apply to become a Vice President you also apply to become a member of the Stithians Agricultural Association Limited.
As such you accept a guarantee liability in the sum of £1 (one pound) to be paid in the event of an insolvent winding up of the Company.
For Vice Presidents the dates of General meetings are shown under the heading to the left. Only Adult Vice Presidents are entitled to vote at General Meetings.
Vice Presidents elect the Officers and Trustees at the A.G.M. The Trustees are known as The Executive Committee.
Twice yearly newsletters are sent to the Vice Presidents at subscription time and ahead of the A.G.M.
